December 2008 - Warelords joins LISA, the Localization Industry Standard Association.

August 2008 - Warelords open a software engineering and testing facility in Dalian, China.

In May 2008, Warelords opened a software testing and engineering facility in Dalian, China. Dalian is a gentle coastal city of 6 million inhabitants located at the tip of the Liaoning peninsula and ideally bordering Korea and neighbouring Japan. As a result of its location, Dalian welcomed many Japanese and Korean high tech companies in the past which in turn prompted the successful implementation of the international software park, home to most global hi-tech companies such as Microsoft, IBM, HP to name a few. In a similar fashion to Dublin, a highly skilled software engineering and publishing workforce has been nurtured in Dalian.
